Rudy Ruettiger in 27 seconds on a football field in South Bend, Indiana carved a home for himself in the history books as possibly the most famous graduate of the University of Notre Dame. All of his life everyone had been telling Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger - no you can't, however Rudy believed in himself and his dream. Rising from the valley of despair and discouragement Rudy went on to see his dream of playing football for the Fighting Irish become a reality.
